Hii! Well tonight was the official kick-off of Summer! Johnny Holmes:) its a band that travels around the midwest and does covers on songs, from the classics to call me maybe. Its fun stuff. Everybody goes to the park and they have this like stage set up and everyone packs in as tight as they can in the front.. it really probably looks rediculous. We have so much room but only use like half of it. I'm not sure why we do it because we all are complaining about it being to crowded and smelling. But anyways people from all around come. Its mostly 17-20 year olds on the one side all packed in and everyone else on the other. It can either be way fun or way lame. Tonight it started off lame then became way more fun. You just sing and dance your pants off. Butttt anyways... I'm going to get some sleep because I gotta take the ACT tomorrow. Boo for that. Keep on keepin on ladies and gents!

Well Hey There!
Hi! I have decided to make a blog dedicated to Summer 2012. As a high school girl Summer isn't just a season. It's when you lose all your inhibitions. It's when you're allowed to fall in love for three months. It's a time to live in swim suites and jean shorts. It's what I live for.
I'm going to try and blog every day (I really will try). They will consist of anything from what I did that day or something that I was thinking about or maybe I wore a really cute outfit that I want to tell ya'll about.
This Summer I'm going to try and live by "no regrets" or "yolo". Yes I know, how completely original of me... but I honestly think that those two mottos are truely a good way to live your life. Not the whole party my face of and hashtag yolo, I'm thinking the whole try something new and adventurous yolo.
This is my last summer in high school and I want to make the most out of it. The thing I love most about Summer is the complete freedom. Everyday there is an opportunity to do something incredible. I want to make memories that I will never forget. I want to learn lessons, grow as a person, and more than anything I just want to have the time of my life.
"Singin' forever young, singin' songs underneath that sun." I decided to name my blog Singin' Forever Young from these lyrics. They are from the song Wavin' Flag (Celebration Mix) by K'Naan. This song is just so upbeat and happy that it literally sounds like summer, I love it.
So if you are reading this you are one lucky person. Haha kidding, but sometimes crazy things happen to me and it might be interesting to read about them. Well I think this post is about done. Keep on keepin on. :)
